Costiera to launch on Prime Video

Prime Video Italy will launch its new Local Original series Costiera, an international action-drama directed by Emmy award winner Adam Bernstein (Breaking Bad, Fargo, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Masters of Sex, Californication, Better Call Saul, Orange Is the New Black, Shameless).

Costiera is the latest addition to the Prime membership. Prime members in Italy enjoy savings, convenience, and entertainment, all in a single membership for just €4.99/month or best value €49.90/year

Written by Elena Bucaccio (head of drama, Lux Vide) and Francesco Arlanch, the series is co- produced by Amazon Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a Fremantle Company. It will be available on Prime Video in 2024 and distributed globally, thanks to the strong cooperation of Fremantle.

Daniel De Luca, an Italian-American former marine, is a problem-solver in one of the most exclusive hotel of the world, in Positano. Daniel, or DD as everybody knows him, helps rich tourists get out of trouble and return home, while he spends his life in this paradise on Earth as a guest of the owner—because Daniel was the only person to catch a glimpse of the face of the man who may have kidnapped his daughter, and is therefore the only person who may be able to hunt him down. Alongside an international cast, Costiera will feature a gripping storyline, a complex main character, spectacular locations, and fast-paced action. Costiera will begin production this summer on the Amalfi Coast and will be shot in English.
