Italia’s Got Talent lands on Disney+

Today, Disney+ announced that the next edition of Italia’s Got Talent will land on the streaming service. The hit talent show, produced by Fremantle Italia, will be an Disney+ Original series.

Adapted in 72 countries, Got Talent is the most successful format in the world, earning it the title of ‘World Guinness Record’ as ‘Most Popular Talent/Reality Show’. Created in 2006, it has reached more than 1 billion viewers globally and is currently broadcast in 33 countries with excellent ratings. The Italian edition is the first Got Talent to be available on a streaming platform in Europe.

Italia’s Got Talent is a success story: with 12 seasons under its belt, more than 1,270 contestants have graced the stage of the talent show, showcasing their talents in all kinds of disciplines in search of the judges’ coveted “Golden Buzzer”: singers, comedians, dancers, illusionists, acrobats, but also animal trainers, instrumentalists, ventriloquists, impersonators and all kinds of other performers.

Internationally renowned artists and amateurs with incredible abilities united by the desire to showcase their skills in an enthralling tale where what counts is to excite and entertain.

Some of them, thanks to the show, have achieved success and are now established talents in the world of television, music and social media, in Italy and beyond. These include, to name but a few, Max Angioni, Aurora Leone, Francesco Arienzo, Mary Sarnataro, Andrea Paris, Federico Martelli and Urban Theory.
