Chilevisión confirms Julián Elfenbein as host of Got Talent Chile

Got Talent Chile, part of the world-famous Got Talent franchise, returns to Chilevisión with Julián Elfenbein as its host.

Co-owned by Syco Entertainment and Fremantle, the Got Talent format is an undisputed global success and will once again be broadcast by the Paramount channel, having been the leader in ratings between 2010 and 2015.

The return of Got Talent Chile enhances Chilevisión’s strong commitment to the talent show genre. The channel’s track record includes successful shows such as The Voice Chile, Yo Soy, El Elegido and Fiebre de Baile.

Among the new features of Got Talent Chile is that it will be recorded in a spectacular 1,145 m2 studio-theater with direct sound; capacity for over 250 seats, in addition to 360 lighting spotlights; 160 m2 of screens; more than 20 cameras; and a crew of over 250 professionals which will be in charge of airing the artists' performances with a level of detail never before seen on Chilean television.

The show will feature a group of, soon be announced, renowned judges. They will not only be in charge of evaluating the participants from Chile and the world, but also of discovering new local talent in disciplines such as dance, singing, and comedy, among others.

There are already more than 1,500 pre-selected candidates who have presented themselves throughout the country and casting will continue during the coming weeks.

“Chilevisión is undoubtedly the channel for new talents, being recognized to produce great entertainment programs and bringing to our country the highest and best technical and artistic standards. This year and with the help of Got Talent Chile, our screen will once again show the best and most varied of that artistic world that lives in every corner of our country. With this we hope that our screens will become a hotbed of new talent,” says Executive Director of Chilevisión, Iñaki Vicente, about this new premiere.

Sheila Aguirre, EVP, Co-Production and Distribution, Latin America and Hispanic US, Fremantle said: “We are thrilled to partner with Chilevisión on bringing Got Talent back to audiences in Chile. This iconic format has left an indelible mark in the global entertainment landscape, and we are excited to be a part of its return to Chile.”
