Sky Italia will remain the exclusive home of the X Factor in Italy after it signed a new two-year contract extension to its current deal with Fremantle following an historic and memorable 2024.

This new deal with Fremantle means Sky will broadcast two more X Factor editions, where the 2024 final of the Sky Original show, produced by Fremantle, on Sky, NOW and TV8, reached the highest ratings in the last four years, with an average of 1,765,000 viewers – a figure that is up +51% compared to last season. Total TV share reached an exceptional 8.6% from 4,717,000 unique TV contacts.

The final of X Factor 2024 took place in Naples and was the first-ever outdoor event in the international history of X Factor, where it crowned the young and talented Mimì Caruso as the winner, with a special live performance from Robbie Williams, who enchanted the entire Piazza del Plebiscito by presenting his latest single “Forbidden Road” to over 16,000 spectators.
