We have acquired worldwide distribution rights to Luca: Seeing Red, a feature documentary charting the life of Ferrari legend Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, ahead of launching the title to buyers at MIPCOM in Cannes.
The documentary sees Top Gear's Chris Harris travel to Italy to meet his hero, blending rare archive and candid interviews to tell the story of a man who defined modern motorsport and Italian business. Directed, produced and written by Senna writer Manish Pandey and co-directed by Christopher M. Armstrong, the film dives deep into Montezemolo’s extraordinary career – from his early days under Enzo Ferrari to masterminding the brand’s golden eras with Niki Lauda and Michael Schumacher.
Luca di Montezemolo, commented: “I’ve lived my life at full speed, and this film captures that spirit, set against the stunning backdrop of Italy’s timeless beauty… It’s a story of passion, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence, values that define Ferrari and, I hope, inspire others. From the highs of world championships to the challenges that tested me, Seeing Red reflects not just my journey, but the incredible people and moments that shaped it. I’m proud to share this story with the world and I’m delighted that Fremantle, with its global reach and reputation for premium storytelling, will bring it to audiences everywhere.”
