House of Kardashian air date confirmed for October

Today we reveal that the new documentary series exploring one of the world’s most powerful families – the Kardashian-Jenners – is set to hit Sky Documentaries and streaming service NOW on Sunday 8 October.

Dropping as a box-set, all three episodes will be available for viewers to watch straight away.

No other family defines our time or divides opinion like the Kardashians. To some they are admired as a dynasty of powerful women, inspiring girls across the planet. To others they are untalented and morally bankrupt reality stars, who are damaging women by selling their life as a superficial fairytale.

The three-part series, produced by 72 Films, a Fremantle company, aims to confound expectations and challenge what society knows of the Kardashians, exploring their rise, reach and the cost that comes with being some of the most famous women on the planet.

With bold, entertaining story-telling, exclusive, unseen archival footage and first-hand testimony from some of those within the Kardashian-Jenner inner circle, including Caitlyn Jenner, House of Kardashian challenges the audience to think about the power and influence the family wields across many facets of society – not just popular culture.

Caitlyn Jenner, contributor, House of Kardashian, said: “I was happy to participate in the interview process to share my side which points to the strength, influence, and prowess my family has in captivating the world’s attention and keeping it over the years. I am incredibly proud of all my children and stepchildren.”

House of Kardashian is set to premiere on Sky Documentaries and streaming service NOW on Sunday 8 October.

The series was commissioned by Poppy Dixon, Director of Documentaries and Factual at Sky and Hayley Reynolds, Commissioning Editor, on behalf of Zai Bennett, MD of Content, Sky UK&I. House of Kardashian is series directed by Katie Hindley and executive produced by Clare Cameron, alongside 72 Films’ Creative Director John Douglas.

Fremantle is handling the international distribution of the documentary series, excluding the USA.
